Stagg Family Battle Buddies!

"Battle Buddy" - noun. A partner assigned to a soldier in the United States Army, each of whom assists his or her partner both in and out of combat.

As we all know, the beloved Stagg Family is currently waging a difficult battle against the insidious and relentless illness known as Tertiary (Stage 3) Lyme Disease. Susan suffers the heaviest symptoms, ranging from temporary blindness, chronic fatigue, and painful body spasms, to even her legs giving out at any time (to name just a few debilitating symptoms). Though she just finished her degree in Rehabilitation Therapy, she is often unable to work due to chronic pain and weakness.

Two of Susan and John's children, Hannah (14) and Zachary (10), are also starting to show signs of the same condition. Their daughter Caitlin has it but is in remission after 6 months of treatment in 2013.

Though the family is tight-knit and works together to function quite well on their own, the stress of this condition can take its toll on every level - emotionally, physically, and of course, financially.

This is where you come in.

We would like to join hands together as friends of the Stagg Family, to become their "Battle Buddies" and surround them while assisting in their fight against this disease. The mission of the Battle Buddies is two-fold:

1.) To stand in prayer and solidarity with them, offering spiritual and emotional support as they fight this battle; and
2.) To raise funds to help them handle their medical bills and day-to-day expenses. We pray for, hope for, and expect God to meet their needs in this situation.
