Dan's Recovery Fund

Hello, Friends and Family~

Many of you may have heard what recently happened to Dan Slader.  Though I'm sure some have not.

Dan recently experienced a traumatic back and neck injury, as well as a severe concussion, after a bad fall. He was, thankfully, rushed to the hospital by some wonderful local EMT's and Rescue Workers. There he needed immediate surgery to repair the severe damage done to his spinal cord.

Dan has now spent some time in and out of the hospital. He was told by the surgeons just how lucky he was to be alive and that he had been just a hair away from some, if not total, paralysis. He is very thankful that God was watching over him and for the swift actions of passersby and rescue workers. 

Dan is looking forward to an eventual complete recovery. However, that will take quite some time.  As most of you know he makes a living as a physical laborer and unfortunately we are not sure when he would be able to return to work or at what capacity.  With a new baby to help provide for and mounting personal and medical bills his struggle is just beginning. 

My goal is to be able to give Dan some bit of relief during his recovery period. Maybe just a cushion to take his mind off of the finances and focus on physical therapy and getting strong again.  No amount is too small. I know that between all of his family and friends we can really come together and show our love and support for Dan during this difficult time.
