Ali & Dee go the bald eagle...

Donation protected
Hi all,

As you may know, our mum has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She has just finished her first round of chemo and has almost lost all of her hair. As anyone who has had a close friend, relative or significant other who has been through or currently has cancer will understand, it is very easy to feel helpless while watching your loved one go through chemo. We love our mum more than anything in the world and in order to support her we'll be shaving our heads in solidarity!

We'd love for you to join us for a bbq and a few drinks as we shave our heads and try to raise as much money as possible for pancreatic cancer research. This may be the only time you ever get to see either of us with a mow hawk before going completely bald!!!

We'll also be donating our hair so that cancer patients who cannot afford real hair wigs can be provided with one for free.

Lets hope we can make a bit of a difference and stop any other families having to go through this!

In support of our efforts Andrew Barnett, Elyssa McCreanor, Riley McCreanor and Kevin Owens (two of Harry's mates) have kindly offered to 'go the bald eagle' as well!! So Riverlanders jump on board as this event is going to span two states and involve shaving the noggins of volunteers as young as 11 and up to as old as...well let's not go there shall we!!
