Missions Trip to Kenya

Hello. I have been given an opportunity to venture to Kenya this year but I need your help. I have set a goal of raising $2,500 between now and the middle of May because my parents and I will be leaving on May 26th. This is definitely a leap of faith. On our trip we will make brief visits to Nairobi and Mombasa. Then we will travel to a remote village in the mountains called Ngurumo. In the summer of 2010 my father, with a group from Christ Community Church, was able to visit Ngurumo and he helped build a church. We will be going to that same to church to dedicate it and possibly help put some finishing touched on it. We will also hold a Friday and Saturday night revival.
     The $2,500 raised will go towards my travel expenses. I believe that God will be doing great work through us in Kenya. I believe that my own as well as other peoples walks with God will be strengthed through this experience and lastly, I believe that we will make a positive difference for Christ. I simply ask you to pray and see if God lays it on your heart to support me on this mission. I also ask that you pray for the people we will be coming into contact with there. God has something great in store through this mission to Kenya and I can't wait to see the results.
