Raising funds to help Christina’s family!

Update! Unexpectedly Christina Gallagher sadly left us on May 7th 2022 around 9:45pm due to her battle with triple negative metastatic breast cancer! She is survived by her husband Josh Gallagher, and her 5 children,  Elizabeth, Gabby, Mackenzie, Clarissa, and Esther! 

I originally started this fundraiser 4 months ago to help her fight her battle against cancer but we are changing it now to help her husband josh and kids make it through these trying times! They will have a lot of medical bills, memorial costs, and finding ways to pick up the pieces from her passing. Every little bit will help!

Hello, my name is Alesia and I am raising funds to help my sister in law pay for her fight against triple negative breast cancer. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Here is her story!

On November 4, 2021, I was diagnosed with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. This is a very aggressive cancer. It has moved into my lymph nodes, I have Lesions on my spine and lumbar and lymph nodes on my liver. I also have malignant pleural effusion on my lungs which makes it hard to breathe or speak. We are still waiting on the brain mri to see if it has spread to my brain. It is unfortunately spreading rapidly.

I have opted for treatment in Irvine, California where they are treating the cancer both naturally in conjunction with low-dose chemo. I believe this will give me the best chance of survival.  My immune system is not strong enough to undergo conventional treatment.

Currently, my health is declining and I am on an oxygen concentrator to help me maintain oxygen levels. On top of this, I am anemic and my heart rate has been elevated for the past three months. I am taking heart pills to help alleviate this, but they need to address the source of the problem in order for my heart  to get better. 

I am traveling to California every week for treatment. 
These expenses include
a hotel every week during treatment along with maintenance costs, fuel for transportation, and groceries while we stay there.  We are spending roughly 3 grand or more per week depending on which treatments I am to receive each day while I am there. I am extremely grateful to have my mom accompanying me by driving me each week and caring for me as I am not able to drive myself at this time due to a slight loss of vision in my right eye. 

I have a long road ahead of me for recovery, and I’m doing all I can to get the help I need so I can stay alive to raise my children and see my grandchildren someday. I believe God can and will heal me. 

If you know me, you know I am a woman of faith and I am believing God for a miracle in my life. I never would ask anyone for money unless I really needed it. I appreciate any support you can give no matter how small as this will help offset the costs of my treatment and traveling needs. 

Above all I would appreciate all who are willing to pray for me and my family as we go through this difficult time. My kids and husband are missing me a lot while I am away from home and I am missing them too. This is not an easy thing for any of us to go through.
