Nick's Diabetic alert dog
Donation protected
My 11 year old son, Nick, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes right before Christmas 2015. What we initially thought was asthma turned out to be diabetes. He spent 5 days in the hospital, 2 of those days in PICU. Fortunately, he was able to go home 2 days before Christmas.
We are trying to raise $2000 for a diabetic service dog through a local agency. The cost of the dog is $20,000 and the agency requires us to pay 10% of that. This would give all of us peace of mind, especially at night when Nick's blood sugar could drop to a low, dangerous level.
We would be forever greatful if you would help fund our campaign for Nick.
