Knox Needs Surgery

This is not something that I would typically do unless there were desperate measures, but today my daughter and her boyfriends dog was injured at camp and had to go to the Emergency vet with what we had hoped would turn out to be a strained leg. What they found out was devastating. Knox has two broken front legs. The left leg requires surgery and the right will require a splint of some sort. The vet has estimated this to cost 10,000 dollars. If they cannot come up with the funds, Knox will need to be euthanized. This pup is only one… he has just started his life. He’s a sweet boy, and doesn’t deserve to go this way. He is like a child to my daughter Alyssa and her boyfriend Logan. They love him so much, and the thought of losing him is too much to handle. If they are able to proceed with this surgery, it will be a long road of recovery, with both front legs being compromised, but this is a road they are willing to travel if they can save him.
