Graduation Year: 2014
Father's Employer: My father is currently returning to college online (Ashford College).
Mother's Employer: G4S: Protection Division. She is also going to college online. And being a single mother is a job all its own.
Grandparents' Employer: My grandfather retired from Sanitary (district of Decatur)- he now drives a truck for Marvin Keller. My grandmother cooked before retiring due to illness.
Post High School Plans: I plan on going to college to be a chef or go straight into an apprenticeship.
Places I've been (other than Illinois): Texas, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Las Vegas
This trip would be important to me because...
some, if not half of my family came from Ireland; and to really understand the way my family once lived would make me happy. To see and taste the different foods of the world would help kick start my career as a professional chef. I know this will probably be a once in a lifetime deal.
