Morehouse man to Dental School

Ive never been the one to ask for anything. In fact I pride myself on being the one to give to others. Rather it be funds or a helping hand or ear. Even as I write these words, I realize that I need to humble myself and learn to possibly lean on others for help. I come from a lower-middle, working class Army family, who taught us the purpose on this earth is not to value the material things this world could bring. They taught us to work hard towards our goals, be kind to each person for you never know what battles they are fighting and to love one another. So I wasn't graced with an established college fund or inheritance from passed relatives, moreso I had to make some rough decisions in order to get to the point I am today. Im proud of those trials and the character it has built. I am a proud man, who is finally about to finish my Bachelors at Morehouse College at the top of his class and recently accepted into Georgetown University and University of Miami in order to continue to pursue my career as a Dentist. And Thats why I need help. As my recently late father would say "PUSH or Pray Until Something Happens".I have no other choice but to continue this journey. I have to help unload the burdens on my mother and make my father proud. Not just them, also the generations that come after me. Give them something positive to look up too and know dreams can be obtained.As pretigious as these schools are, they are expensive, uber expensive, and I'll be the first to say I don't have it.  Outside of the loans that I will possibly have to pull, and money I do have, its going to be a long fight up. The amount I have to come up with in the total goal Is nothing in comparison to the amount it will take to complete everything, but it is a start. Rather its a lot or a little I come to you thankful for you even taking the time to consider helping. A prayer to the heavens will also suffice. I am nothing without HIM!
