Ashley smith

Hi my name is Gemma and I'm doing a go fund me for my partner Ashley Smith. As some of you may already be aware Ashley has been battling ewing sarcoma from as young as 21, Ashley went thorugh chemo and radiotherapy and beat his cancer however Ashley's remaning kidney then began to fail which resulted in him beginning dialysis and manged to get a transplant in 2018 which was donated by his mum then had two years to do what he wanted and we as a family and couple done a fair amount. Unfortunately in 2020 Ashley knew something wasn't quite right and went back to hospital to then be told that sadly the cancer had come back more aggressively but this time it was on his lungs. This meant another load of chemo and radiotherapy but this time round it wasn't as easy as before because the treatment was never to cure it. It was always to maintain and keep it undercontrol however we got told some sad news that the chemo hasn't worked and there is no more they can do and to stop all treatment. Ashley has now come home to be with family to pass away in peace in his own home with his own comforts.

As anyone could imagine paying for a funeral Is expensive and we want to give ashley the best send off we know he deserves. We ask for anything you can donate even a small amount that will help him massively and relive some stress and pressure from his family so we can enjoy the time we have with him.

Whatever money is raised will go towards paying for the best send of my husband could have ever wanted. And some will go to the royal marsden in chelsea who have help and surported ashley throughout his journey. And then rest will be held for his daughter.
