Help the Cauchi's get to Jo'burg

Kerri-Anne and myself have been so fortunate enough to have been selected to represent Australia at this years Powerlifting Classic World Championships in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Last year, in my first international competition, I placed 2nd and I have full intention of defending that title and maybe sneaking on some gold!

For Kerri-Anne, this will be her international debut. She has been training hard and will be thrown into arguably the biggest competition on the IPF calendar, at the tender age of 18.

We are a brother sister duo who love the sport and love helping anyone interested in getting involved with the all things strength. 

Unfortunately, there is minimal funding available from the government in the sport of Powerlifting and all expenses lie completely with the athlete.

The cost of representing our country is simply too great for us and this is where we have no choice but to reach out for support from the friends, family and greater community around us. While we'll end up bearing the majority of the cost, all financial aid is truly appreciated. The money will go towards airfares, accommodation, entry fees, doping tests, uniform and training equipment. The end bill will end up in the thousands.
