Greetings, everybody!
I am taking my first step into small business ownership and am seeking funding for a landscape maintenance service start-up for residential and small business clients. My goal is to raise $5,000.
Now, you're probably asking yourself, "How is this any different than any other landscape maintenance service?"
Offering complete custom-tailored service, I am not a "mow, blow, and go" contractor. My services include garden work and weed pulling by hand. I take extra care to attend to detailed garden and/or vegetables beds, pull weeds and invasive plants by hand, prune, trim hedges and bushes, and edging. I also welcome small landscaping projects including, but not limited to:
"¢ planting trees, shrubs and other foliage
"¢ installing sod, raised beds, small retaining walls, arbors and fences
"¢ simple patios, walkways, pavers, pads or decking
"¢ rain barrels and other miscellaneous projects
Furthermore, all power equipment is cordless and battery-operated for maximum environmental friendliness - ZERO EMISSIONS! Electric- or battery-powered equipment not only saves the environment by not polluting deadly toxins into our atmosphere, they also do not degrade one of Earth's most limited natural resources. Battery-powered tools cost a small fraction to recharge compared to the ever-increasing cost to run their gas-powered companions, and they are much, much quieter!
Additionally, I fertilize, mulch, and compost using top-quality, all natural and/or organic products - locally sourced whenever possible. All herbicide, pesticide and fungicides applications are done using ONLY sustainable, all natural and/or organic formulas, never harmful to the environment!
Your kind and generous contributions are going directly to start-up costs pertaining to the business. Funds are being used for:
"¢ Long-term assets including, but not limited to: a pick-up truck and utility trailer
"¢ Short-term assets including, but not limited to: mower, trimmer, edger, blower, hedge trimmer, rake, shovel, pruner, loppers, ladder, safety equipment, and other miscellaneous tools and materials
"¢ Other miscellaneous costs including, but not limited to: administrative, overhead, IT, advertising and marketing
Your funds are ONLY used for the above mentioned costs.
Seriously, as little as $1 will help, but please take advantage of the rewards for donations starting at just $25! If you choose a reward in which you receive FREE labor, I will contact you to set up an initial consultation and scheduling of actual work.
Please note that if you want to substitute garden service with a specialty service (such as bark dust spread, mulch, ground cover, etc.), I will then take the amount of hours of respectful reward levels and subtract them off the final invoice. Please inquire about services and a free estimate.
Also, "lawn care service" mentioned in Reward Levels Silver and Gold includes mowing, edging, blowing and removal of debris.
