I'm pursuing a miracle.

I'm thirteen years old, I have a disease called cystic angiomatosis which is a rare form of Gorham's Disease. I've been in pain all of my life. Currently, morphine helps me get through school every day. 

I've just learned that the doctors who are researching to find a cure for my disease are having a conference in Dallas, TX June 13-14.  I really want to be there, to meet others, to talk to doctors and patients  that are coming from all over the world, and I want to finally meet someone, someone just like me, who has "walked through the valley" like I am doing right now.  Sometimes I feel so alone and because they know so little about my disease, the doctors I've seen consider me "a big puzzle".  I want to see that the disease that I've had since birth can be cured or at least the quality of life improved with whatever new technology has been discovered.  I want to hear what the doctors say and I want to learn what kind of treatments are available to me and others like me.  

Unfortunately, my family does not have enough money for the trip.

I would like to ask my friends and relatives to please donate to my fund so that my Mom, Dad, Sister, and I can go to this conference.  Other ways to help would be to donate Frequent Flyer Miles or Hotel Points (even gift cards for meals while we are there would also help).  The estimated cost for my family to go on this trip and participate in this conference is $3,500 so that is my goal.

I'm appealing to you to help in any way you can, large or small, and appreciate anything that you can do to help.  Please pray for me and my family.  Pray also for the doctors and scientists who are researching to find a resolution to this painful disease.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
