Four Month Old Puppy Criminally Victimzed Twice Needs Your Help!
This is my friend Omar's puppy, Diego. He is a rescue and only four months old. When he was brought to the shelter with his father and brother, someone had poured hot glue on them and was found behind a dumpster. The father received most of the damage, but all three were seriously injured. Omar fell in love and brought Diego home.
On Tuesday morning, Omar and a friend took the their dogs for a walk at Papago Park. The dogs got in a little scuffle, Diego's leash broke and he dashed out into the dessert. They immediately ran after Diego, but he was gone. A few other friends joined in and looked for Diego all day and evening and again the next morning.
Sometime Wednesday evening, Omar received a call from someone who thought they found Diego. They witnessed Diego being thrown out of a truck window near a construction company off of Priest Road. He was able to get Diego and take him to the hospital and get immediate help.
Due to his injuries he has two broken legs, a dislocated hip and needs surgery immediately. Omar has already paid $1,200 in emergency fees and will need a little more to help get him get the surgery and medication needed to recover. You can also donate directly to the facility at [email redacted] and state that you are giving permission to ARECA to run your card for your specified amount. Just include your name, Diego's name and donation amount.
He is such a sweet little guy and has already been through so much in his short life. The police have video and a license plate so the dirtbags who did this will hopefully be brought to justice soon. Unfortunately, they did not provide us with that information but I will let everyone know who these evil people are when it becomes available.
