Amy's portable oxygen concentrator
Donation protected
Amy is in desperate need of a portable oxygen concentrator. Insurance does not cover the cost of this, & it makes travel to cardiac rehab too difficult. As her lung myopathy progresses the lighter concentrator will help her overcome this trial with her heart & lung condition. Her condition is rapidly deteriorating.
The oxygen tanks are too heavy for her to lift and don't last long. The concentrator will have a 12 hour battery life, helping improve quality of life immensely. Currently she is under the care of two cardiologists at the University of Utah, & seeing another neurology specialist soon. The cause of her hypoxemia & lung myopathy is currently undiagnosed, after over a year of grueling tests, hospitalizations & no definitive diagnosis. Her chronic arrythmia (heart palpitations )(PVC's) and her inappropriate sinus tachycardia, continue constantly,as well and another heart surgery may be necessary.
If you are able to help....any amount is appreciated!
This is step one in the battle to Amy's recovery. Amy has been unable to work as a nurse for over a year, and misses caring for her patients in surgery more than anything.
Thank you in advance to all who are able to help. Please keep her in your prayers.
