My name is Michael Fig and I started this fund for the family of 7 year old Teleeya Roquez who, due to a drunk driver, was taken from us on Wednesday 19th, 2014. I have been close to their family as far back as I can remember and want to do what I can for the family no matter how small or big it may be. Teleeya and her mother Leslie were driving home from church when they stoped by McDonald's to treat Teleeya. After leaving from there they traveled home and came upon the stop light at pumpkin center road in hermiston. As they sat and waited for the light to change they were hit from behind by a drunk driver (0.255 alcohol level) who was traveling at excess speeds and due to the high impact caused the death of a 7 year old girl and sent a heart broken mother to the I.C.U in portland oregon.

Before Leslie could even begin to start grieving for her daughter she first had to survive the crash herself suffering from a punctured lung, broken nose, brused rips and lacerations on her face and hands from the broken glass. I know that now a days times are tough for everyone but I started this fund in hopes of helping a family going through an unimaginable nightmare. I hope I can show her just how much the people who live around her are willing to be there for her in her darkest hour.
