Help Chris earn a Scholarship

My name is Chris Watson and I am from Yokosuka, Japan, where I have spent my spent my whole life. I currently play for Kinnick High School on Yokosuka Naval Base and will be attending Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania this upcoming fall. I first began playing basketball at the age of 5, where I have found a passion for this game ever since. I absolutely loved the feeling I got from the game, as it made me happy being on the court. My family has been a major influence in supporting me on and off the court and providing guidance for my future.

I am extremely excited to experience Global Squad because of the opportunity to not only compete against some of the best competition in the world, but to also significantly improve as a basketball player and as a person.

I want to play basketball for a Division 1 college basketball program. This camp gives me the opportunity to be potentially seen my these coaches and lead to me to my aspirations of playing at the next level and hopefully play professionally one day. I believe this camp gives me the tools and understanding to work hard at my craft everyday and to remain diligent in working towards my goals.

I won a Far East championship with my high school team in 2018. I was a captain for my high school team this year in 2019 as only a Sophomore. In the Far East Tournament this year, we were runner up and I was selected to the All-Tournament Team.

Global Squad is a month long basketball camp that welcomes high school student athletes from all over the world to help hone there basketball skills and grow as an individual.
