GSA Summer College Tour (MD to NY)

As the School Counselor at Green Street Academy, I have been given the opportunity to partner with a local church to take a few of our GSA scholars on a summer road trip to visit NINE colleges / universities between Maryland and New York. What better way to get our GSA scholars College and Career ready?!?!
This is an amazing opportunity for our scholars to see first hand the benefits of staying focused on their school work, improving their grades and mapping out their future goals to include higher education.
Please know our scholars come from a low-income urban community and battle stereotypes daily that claim they will never earn a college degree or be successful later in life.
Not only will this (5) day trip mean the world to them, this trip might be their first real vacation, stay in a hotel, extended time working as a team, first college campus experience and/or their first opportunity to travel outside of Baltimore City.
Please consider donating to this amazing opportunity for our GSA scholars. Your donation will "jump-start" our goal of making this college tour a possible reality for some really motivated and excited young minds!
