Rescue cats need your help!

We urgently need your assistance to ease the suffering of some very deserving rescue cats. Many homeless cats arrive with injuries, life-threatening illnesses, severe dental pain, eye abscesses, and other conditions that need medical attention. Albuquerque's local cat cafe, Catopia, provides a comfortable and happy place for shelter and rescue group cats. We strive to make their lives better not only by finding them excellent homes, but by providing necessary medical care. We have found homes for 550 cats and kittens in the past three years! Working with this many cats, we have some high medical bills. The pandemic has been rough financially and our cafe revenue doesn't even cover the basic costs of rent and supplies for the cats. Even with help from the rescue groups and shelters we work with and veterinarians who give us their lowest rates, our veterinary bills already exceeded $18,000 this year. We just can't keep up.
