My amazing daughter, Allison was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary emboli with an unknown cause or source. The very expensive medication that she must take is not covered by the insurance she was required to sign up for (OBAMAcare). Allison will have to undergo several more tests and procedures to find out why she is getting blood clots. Allison's insurance has a very high deductible which leaves her making choices of getting the tests and medications she needs to save her life vs meeting her monthly obligations.
