Baby Charlotte Umezu

Charlotte was born prematurely and was in the NICU since her birth in March. Through countless pokes, prods, tests, medications, and EEGs, little Charlotte persevered. She continues to have many seizures every day, and the doctors have decided that it will be better for her to be at home with her family, being doted on and drowned in love and attention, than to be in the NICU any longer.  Because Charlotte is a preemie, she has trouble regulating her temperature in

addition coping with the many seizures. She requires a lot of specialized and expensive equipment in order to be at home. Charlotte is a beautiful baby girl facing a ton of challenges. No one knows what the future holds for her, but we all know that the stress of medical bills piling up is the last thing this family needs to be concerned about while relishing every moment they get to spend with their precious baby. Her mom, Tracy, has decided to take a leave of absence from work to stay home and keep a watchful eye on Charlotte for now. They also have a home health nurse at night, so they can at least attempt to sleep. Please donate to help alleviate some of the financial pressure that these young parents will have to deal with as they care for Charlotte at home. She is a little fighter, and we have to help fight for her. Many people have asked how they can help, so I set up this site as a friend of the family.
