Meet Golden Sun-Shyne. Her name is an embodiment of who she truly is. For those of you whom have had the honor of meeting this fabulous woman and make-up artist, you already know that her loving, kind-hearted spirit and fun nature makes you fall in love with her immediately. Her laugh is infectious and if you're ever in need of a buddy to go half on a double chocolate cake, Golden is your go-to! #snacks
Last September Golden fell ill with growths on her thyroid. At first she thought that she could just push through and get better. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Like precisely a million other people Golden fell into the medical system "Glitch" wherein her medical health care went "missing" and or is "frozen". She has gone to countless doctors trying to get help, but the end result is that she needs to have a full length of tests run before anyone can even attempt to treat her. These tests are not cheap, and as she has been waiting and praying for the glitch to be resolved her condition is worsening. There are days when she can't even get out of bed, and her voice is inoperative. Golden is a make-up artist who's career was just taking off in film and television, and requires for her to be on set for hours at a time on her feet. As we currently stand she wants nothing more than to get back out there and live out her life's passion. Golden was also taking care of her elderly grandmother who was battling dementia in her later years of life, but due to her physical condition she was forced to move out of her home of 60+ years because Golden is no longer physically capable. For those of us who are lucky enough to have health insurance we don't think twice about how what it might feel like to walk into a medical facility and not be seen and rehabilitated by a doctor. But this is a reality for millions of people. Please join me and many others in getting Golden the Health Care that she needs so that she can get back to doing the thing she loves more than anything, helping people be beautiful on the inside and out!
