Help Kyle get his Recumbent bike!

Kyle has come a such long way since he was first diagnosed with Guillian-Barre-Syndrom paralyzing him 3 1/2 years ago. He is still in a wheelchair and we are learning how to do life a all new way. He has been doing all sorts of adaptive sports like adaptive snow skiing, adaptive water skiing, scuba diving, swimming and horseback riding at STAR. We are trying to do some of the things he use to enjoy before he got sick.
One of the things he use to love to do before he got sick is to bike ride. He has been working hard at therapy able to walk with leg braces and forearm crutches, he does great, I am so proud of him! He is getting stronger all the time and I am always encouraging him to try new things. We tried out this recumbent bike. He did awesome on it and just loved it! It was his first time back on a bike since he got sick and rode all over the place down in the Smoky Mountains on this recumbent bike we rented. He was planning of all sorts of places to go and ride! Having this bike would be so awesome in so many ways for Kyle. Both therapy to really help those legs get stronger and to just get out having fun doingdoing the stuff he loves!
These recumbent bikes are very expensive, even the used ones, and his would have to be modified a little because of his handicap needs. We would also need a bike rack and hitch for our handicap van so we could take the bike places and ride.
I have decided to reach out to our community and friends once again to see if we can make this happen. I also want to thank you for all your support and prayers many of you have already sent our way during this life changing journey we are on. Kyle has come a long way but we still have a long way to go.
I have set up this site so that if you would like to help by giving it is an easy way to do so. Please don't feel obligated, and if your can't give it's ok. Maybe you can just share this page with others or just pray about this need for Kyle.
