Help me replace my bike

As I was going home from work to pick up my kid on the 28th of May, and go to the pediatrician a car came in to the bike lane without even slowing down. He got in just in front of me, so I crashed in to him and flew 2.5m landing on my back. I sprained my wrist, scratched my back, hit my knee and foot.
The guy who had no intresst in knowing how I was, started yelling about how all this was my fault despite the fact that he had to give way for anyone in the bike lane. He threatened me with the police, and now demands that I take the blame and pay his repairs.. Still in shock I walked away with my bike on my shoulder just to get home. After an hour the pain came creeping and I had to get to the hospital, where they said that I hadn't broken anything but would be in pain for a few weeks. I had been lucky, since it could have ended much worse. At the moment I can't walk without pain or pick up my kid without that pain making me hesitate.
Physically I will be fine eventually, but this was the bike I were to use with my two year old son this summer dragging him along in the new bike trailer we bought. But with no bike this won't happen. Since the steer tube is damaged the frame is shot and therefore the entire bike is just pretty looking garbage.
So I'm basically in need of a new bike to make my kids summer the first he will actually remember. I know there are people in the bike community who have suffered the same or even worse, and that we can help each other! Today I need your help to get me and my kid pedaling this summer! He loves the trailer, he loves the new sensation of speed. I want to give him that.
