Fundraising for our grandfathers funeral
Donation protected
On Sunday March 16th our grandfather, Jose Antonio Ortiz, lost his battle to lung cancer.
If you are familiar with the disease, you know what a horrific, debilitating disease this is for the individual, as well as the individual's family and friends. We tried to prepare financially for his eventual passing after having learned his diagnosis, however, we had not planned for the disease to take him away from us so quickly, and instead spent our time with him these past few months making him as comfortable as possible.
At this time, the family cannot afford to pay for our grandfather's funeral service.
I am asking for any help you are able to give in order to help us provide him a proper memorial service, I am currently out of work and cannot do this on my own. He was a wonderful, caring, hard working person. He was a father, grandfather, friend and the glue that kept our family together. My hope is that I can give him the funeral that exemplifies all that he was to me and the rest of our family.
