Barber College Or Bust

For a few years I have had an interest to become a traditional barber. The first time I visited an old school barbershop, I was fascinated. These are places where men can be men and get a proper traditional haircut and shave. I have a deep respect for the men who are trying to keep this art form of barbering alive, and I believe it's time that I started to learn this trade.

Currently, if you're from the Mohave county area, you have to travel to Las Vegas, California, or the Phoenix area to visit one of these traditional men's barbershops and get a good cut and shave. My goal is to start an old school barbershop here in the Mohave County area where men can go and enjoy a proper haircut, good friends, and good times. To accomplish this goal, I need your help. I am currently planning to sell many of our belongings, pack up what we have left, and relocate with my wife and new daughter to go to barber school and get my license. This obviously is going to be a big commintment with a huge financial burden, even though we have some wonderful family who is going to be helping us. After 9-10 months of school, we plan to come back to Bullhead City and look for a retail space for my dream, "Top Shelf Barbershop & Shave Parlour".

Anything that is donated will go first to Tuition costs, then relocation costs, and finally starting the business. This is going to be a huge endeavor, and I can't do it without my family, friends, acquaintances, and anyone else who wants to see this kind of business to come to the area.
