Mickey and I need your help!

My name is Donna Hendrickson. I am eighteen years old and am a working student for Lauren Chumley. In the spring of 2013, I was given the incredible oppurtunity to ride and show Lauren's FEI (international) horse, Millennium (aka Mickey). This year, we have hit the ground running with the goal of riding for Region 1 in the North American Junior Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC). The NAJYRC (http://www.youngriders.org/) is an FEI (international) competition held in the United States every year for riders 14-21 years of age. Mickey and I will by vying for a spot on the Region 1 Junior Dressage team.
In order to even be considered, Mickey and I must earn a miniumum of seven scores. The average of those scores will be used to rank us amongst the other competitors from Region 1. Once all of the scores are in, there will be final ranking of the top eight riders from each region. Four riders will then be chosen to compete for their region in the NAJYRC. It is my goal this year to ride for Region 1 on the Junior team. Next year, I would like to ride for the young rider team, which is the more advanced team.
My journey started in 2010 when I met Lauren and began taking lessons. I soon started working for her a few days a week up until last year, when I became her full time working student. In the spring of last year, she had me ride Mickey for the very first time. I can honestly say we have come a long way, and I wouldn't be in this position without Lauren's faith and guidance.
I am writing this in an effort to raise funds for the road to NAJYRC. In order to qualify, I must compete in at least four CDI's to earn my scores. CDI's are international classes, which have higher entry fees than regular classes. CDI's are required to have both national and international judges officiate, many of whom have judged at the Olympics and World Games.
The fees for this venture will be in the $5,000 range and I am trying to offset this cost. Any assistance you can provide would be gratefully accepted! No amount is too small and would be greatly appreciated! Every dollar received will put me that much closer to my goal! Thank you very much for taking the time to read this!
