Oh So Posh Strong

Lidia Gridorgean is owner of Oh So Posh Photography as well as the founder of The Tiny Sparrow Foundation. She is an inspiration to all who come in contact with her.  With over 75k Facebook followers, many have grown to love Lidia for her wonderful heart and colorful spirit. In good times and bad she seems to put all her focus on two things - Isadora (her beautiful daughter) and trying making this world a better place in the most genuine way possible. And in her way she has made this world a better place for many, even for people she has never met from around the world... and her response to this when I remind her of that little token of encouragement is, "But girl, I'm just... Lidia." Yes, just Lidia... who grew up in poverty in Romania, who came to a new country with no material possessions and hardly any English, who fought for her daughter when medical issues tried to take her away after birth, who then had to fight for her own life when breast cancer tore through her body just before losing her father... and then who responded to all of this by starting the Tiny Sparrow Foundation when she had nothing to give but her gift of photography. Through her foundation she found a way to even shine a more colorful light on such a tragic situation of childhood disease by wanting to highlight the beautiful smiles and true unique personalities of these courageous children fighting for their own lives. To this day every minute of her time with the foundation is 100% volunteer.

Unfortunately and unfairly the last 6 months for Lidia have brought daily battles of intense pain, obstacles, fears and setbacks... and she still waits to find out if this is over and if so, what she was even fighting against. In the meantime, the time has come for her amazing sister to leave, and so Lidia, a single mom, is now worried about caring for Isadora while still unable to care for herself as she recovers from surgery.

Lidia lives to help others and I'm hoping that some of us can help her by easing her burden to show her that "Just Lidia" has support. The medications, hospital & doctor visits, procedures and surgeries have left her with a whole new battle to face as the bills start to pile. I know she would appreciate even the smallest gesture, as she once shared this beautiful quote on her page:

The hope is that we can raise $5,000 to assist with the medical costs, but the actual costs are upwards of that and needless to say she has been out of work for some time on top of that.
