Help me save Pandora

Please help me keep my big dog, Pandora,with me. She has torn a ligament in her knee. After getting two vet opinions, Pandora needs surgery. If she does not have it she will soon damage her other back leg, then I will have no choice but to put her down.

 Pandora is the best dog I have ever had the honor of having in my life. She has gone through all my ups and downs for the past eight years. She has comforted me when i needed it, protected me, and been my faithful companion. 

Pandora came to us as a rescue at age 1. She was not fully grown but her family had to give her up because she was getting to big for them to handle. She had been mistreated. She had fear of doorways, getting into cars, hallways, and stairs. With lots of love and encouragement we were able to overcome whatever bad memories were imprinted on her. 




The last 2 years have been full of changes for us. In the summer of 2012 we moved 2000 miles from Detroit MI to sandpoint ID. 3 months after our move my life partner Kevin died and our dog Sophie  went to be with kevin 2 months later. We found our new family member, Hope, at the Panhandle Animal shelter. We named her Hope because both Pandora and I just needed a little hope at the time.
When all started to feel right again, I severly herniated 2 discs in my lower back. I have been struggleing to pay for my copays, treatments and physical therapy. Because of the time I have had to take off of teaching ( I have had to limit my time with the preschoolers to 3 to 4 hours stretches instead of my full 6 hour day) I am now having to face a loss in mothly income.
My Back is healing well but I will still need on going medical care for a few more months. The good news is I will not need sugery as was first expected.

Please help me keep Pandora in my life. The vet said with the right surgery Pandora could live a healthy life for 5 to 6 more years. Any contribution would help. Even just a few dollors would be greatly apreciated. I feel like losing her now would just break off another piece of my heart.
