Dear Friends & Family,
In June of 2013 I gave myself the gift of a weekend women's retreat in the mountains of North Carolina. That weekend was life changing for me. Surrounded by women coming together to support and lift each other up, I was able to open, to forgive, and to begin to rediscover a part of me that had gotten lost somewhere along life's pathway.
Since that first retreat, my heart has continued to open. I have worked with a life coach and have attended other retreat events. Through this process, I have learned to listen to the still small voice that speaks to me, guiding me toward my life's purpose. Along the way, I have been overwhelmed with the desire to bring this experience to more women, especially women who are struggling and could benefit in such a tremendous way from learning to listen to their intuition, to find their own voice, to let life flow from their soul source.
On April 25th I will celebrate my 50th birthday! This will be a year of transition for me in many ways. It is my intention to provide a women's retreat to 10-12 young women at Bend of Ivy Lodge in Asheville, NC, May 22-25th. I have partnered with my life coach and retreat leader, Jenny Aiello. Jenny has agreed to volunteer her time but there remain other costs that have to be covered in order for this to become reality. The cost of lodging, food, and supplies for one participant is $500 and for this reason, I am reaching out to my family and friends for donations.
In addition to monetary donations of any amount, the gift of your support and love is greatly appreciated and will serve to lift us all. Please search your heart and consider a gift to help me celebrate my 50th year!
