Teresa's Cancer Treatment Fund

I am asking this for my friend, Teresa, who in August of 2016 was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (a type of bone cancer) and Amyloidosis (a rare blood disease which is causing her kidneys to to fail).  She has been through 5 different chemo treatments that were not successful.  Teresa now needs kidney dialysis and a bone marrow transplant.  She is scheduled for both of these procedures at the Moffitt Cancer Institute in Tampa.
     
     The family has accrued over $70,000 in medical bills to date and is struggling to pay premiums and meet deductibles and co-pays.  Working  has been difficult due to the illness and demands of treatment.  Because they live in Orlando, they will also need lodging in Tampa for several weeks after the transplant to remain near Moffitt for close monitoring and dialysis.
