*Take a Walk With Me* Taliyah's Journey

Born 2 & 1/2 months prematurely, Taliyah triumphs everyday living with Cerebral Palsy, diagnosed 2 weeks after birth.
Though some things are harder and take her longer, she is just like any other 3 & 1/2 year old.
Taliyah has been diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy - meaning increased muscle tone in her legs, predominantly. She is unable to walk unassisted and uses a walker to get around. Her core muscles aren't quite strong enough yet to allow her to support her own weight or balance and therefore needs to hold something in order to stand up some what independently.
This "Go Fund Me" page is here for anyone who wishes to contribute & donate to Taliyah's various Therapies, in particular at the moment, we are trying to raise funds for Taliyah to undergo the TheraSuit Method therapy widely offered in the United States & Canada. A 3-4week Intensive Therapy Program.
As there is currently an opening mid-year, a great opportunity where we also get to save, with free accommodation!
As this has just made itself available, we are trying to rally up as much as we can to see if we can make it over!
The TheraSuits use of a series of rubber bands to correct posture and muscle position and help retrain muscles and reset the brain-to-muscle movement patterns.
The intensive program can help children make a year's worth of progress in four weeks.

TheraSuit is a biomechanical suit that is used to increase feedback to the brain and enhance purposefull movement. It is the cutting edge therapeutic technique for the treatment of Cerebral Palsy.
The key element of TheraSuit is a strengthening program established for the participant based on their individual needs, strengths and weaknesses. Increased strength and control of muscles results in increased daily functional ability.
TheraSuit Method is based on the elimination of pathological reflexes and establishing new, correct, and functional patterns of movements.
This is done through increasing the feedback the body sends to the brain through doing activities while wearing the suit.
The TheraSuit Method aligns the body as close to normal as possible. Reestablishing the correct postural alignment and plays a crucial role in normalizing muscle tone.

She prides herself on what independence she does have and would completely succeed in reaching her next milestone with her motivation and this TheraSuit Therapy!
