Save My Shop

My name is Natalee and I’m a dedicated mother of three and a business owner who’s struggling to make ends meet.

Skin Solace is a brand that encourages selfcare and wellness through supporting people to prioritise their own needs, the shop has become part of the community.

I formulate and manufacture at my shop which doubles as a creative space for workshops, a co-working space and a space to come and chill.

At Skin Solace, I am committed to employing young people and apprentices from within our local community to help build their skills for working-life.

Unfortunately, with the current economic down tern, I am facing difficult times, meaning that we may have to make the decision to close the shop which I have invested heavily into.

This is not what I anticipated and I am devastated that it has come to this, I hoped the economy, like other business owner would be recovering by now.

I love my shop and have created many happy moments and experiences over the past year for both myself and my community. The workshop have become an opportunity for groups of people to come together to be creative, to connect and share their stories but most importantly to be amount other where this is isolation. It’s been a place to people to come and work when there has been a need for a change of scenery, the environment I project is in the name Skin Solace. It is calm and unique, welcoming and supportive, a space for everyone.

Please support by donating an amount of your choice to help us stay open for the next few months and possibly the foreseeable future. All the money I raise through this will go directly into the business, to reemploy my young staff members and to get my apprentice through to the end of her training at least as she is amazing at what she does and has a wonderful career ahead of her but she needs to qualify.
