Back in August, Roshanda was out sick with COVID-19. After quarantining, she was wrongfully terminated from her job when she became a whistle-blower in reporting instances that were unsafe for Covid precautions, ultimately leaving her and her fellow employees at risk.
She was denied unemployment and has been awaiting an appeal.
Throughout it all, Roshanda has been unable to pay her November and December rent and may be unable to pay for January. As well, she has accumulated a $300 light bill.
We are raising a total of $2,500 to help Roshanda pay her past due rent and utilities.
