Study Abroad

Family and Friends, I have recently been accepted into JMU's study abroad program. This gives me the opportunity to travel to Tarragona, Spain for three weeks this coming May. I will be living in Tarragona with a Spanish family and another JMU student, working in a hospital on a trauma unit and attending classes at the local university. This will give me experience in the specific field of nursing that I want to work in after graduation. I have worked so hard to get into this program and to pursue my major, and would not be here if it were not for all of the love and support that I have gotten from my family and friends.

While in Spain, I plan on keeping a blog of my adventures, complete with pictures and daily journals of what is going on (don't worry, I'll leave all of the blood and guts pictures out). I will be more than delighted to send postcards to each and every one of you from my trip. Studying in Tarragona means the world to me, and whatever support you can give I would be incredibly grateful for. My goal is to raise 5,500 dollars for the cost of the program. Even the smallest donations will add up, and I guarantee a post card for every person who helps to sponsor my trip!
