Viktorija Mardosiene lost her life on a ward at the Royal Stoke University Hospital at 5pm on August 9. The 32-year-old had collapsed following the death of Her son Kevin in the early hours of that morning. It is understood that the tot had been taken ill in his cot just two hours after his bedtime feed at their Newcastle home.

I said the last goodbye to my nephew. I kissed him and told him I’m so sorry I can’t change anything, it was horrible.

We waited for this baby for so long and I brought them home from the hospital and saw them all the time. He was really loved and beautiful, it’s very difficult and sad that we all will never have a chance to see Him walking, talking, laughing…

It’s been a very tough time for us all but has also included some lovely moments for which we are grateful. She was my everything, my other part. I will miss talking to her and going on walks together.
My daughters miss her so much. They only had one aunt from my side and now she’s gone.

We loved her and Kevin to bits and we are very proud to have had such a Sister,Mother and Daughter sadly taken from us long before her time still with so much to give.Viktorija has always been most positive, incredibly courageous and strong person any of us can have had in our lives.

Thank you in advance,
Sister Tatjana and family
