Help Us Represent Texas at Nationals

The Texas Elite intramural basketball team from the University of Texas at Austin won the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) Regional Championship hosted by Texas Christian University on March 7-9, 2014. Our team beat out a total of 26 of the best intramural basketball teams in the region, which included Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. As a worthy side note, in our route to the Regional championship, we defeated the defending National champions, the University of Texas at San Antonio, in the semi-finals. The NIRSA National Basketball Championships will be on April 11-13, 2014 at North Carolina State University.

Our mission is to proudly represent the University of Texas at Austin, to bring national recognition to our region, and to return with the NIRSA National Basketball Championship. In order for us to achieve this goal, we will need financial assistance. On behalf of the Texas Elite basketball team, I would like ask you for any donations, which will cover travel, lodging, and meal expenses. Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated.
