Help me succeed at Berklee!
I remember first discovering Berklee,
I thought it was an impossible feat. I was 15, still barely picking up the guitar and had no idea what kind of future I wanted. I thought this was a school for gods!
As I continued to grow and become diverse, I had a thought, I wonder if I could shoot for the stars, and make my dream become reality. After two years of serious practice, gigging, touring, and grueling lessons, this is now a reality.
Growing up most of my life in a town with a population less than the amount of people that are attending Berklee, not to mention Boston(the city in which it resides) I did not always have the best reach to music I heard in my head. I jumped from Blues, to metal, to acoustic, to then land on Jazz. I feel as though there is a potent euphoria in improvised music, Jazz is not what I hear in my head, but yet the gateway.
Since I was 15, I always had a day job. My family has never had an abundance of money, so I have always bought my own musical equipment, even though sometimes the price was a little too much. I am currently trying to save as much money as I can to benefit my college adventure, if you can help my journey I would deeply appreciative. Thank you
-Daniel.
