Support Amari's Student Ambassador Trip

Dear Family and Friends,

I hope this message finds you well.  This is Amari and I am writing you because I was nominated and have been chosen to become a People to People student ambassador.  I will be traveling to Spain, France, and Italy with the program in July 2014.  People to People Student Ambassador Program was founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on September 11, 1956.  His mission was to find a peaceful solution for a war-filled world by giving ordinary people the opportunity to meet one another and gain an understanding of other people and cultures.

People to People has many different programs that take you to many different countries.  The program I will be traveling with this July is the Mediterranean Traditions program.  I will be visiting places like the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy, La Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Spain, and Monaco, France, famous for the royal Grimaldi family.  Not only will I get to visit amazing historical places, but I will also be performing community service to help the people of the different countries.

I am currently raising money to pay for this program.  I have identified 200 friends and family members to help me reach my goal by April 30, 2014.  I would like to ask you to donate $35 towards my trip.  I am more than willing to share my experience upon my return and will be willing to do so in person or via a recorded presentation.
