road to recovery expenses

on march 7, 2014, james thomson, 25 and future cousin in law marissa miller, 22, as well as complete stranger johans bravo, 21, were pushing james' fiancé's stalled car to safety. in the blink of an eye a drunk driver came from behind and hit and pushed the car the length of a football field. in a result of this tragedy james lost his lower right leg. he has endured 5 surgeries and has 1 more left. prior to the accident james was a cna working in a high pace environment where he constantly was on the move. he will no longer be able to work within the medical field that he was in. james had plans to soon go back to medical school and hopefully with his bright and uplifting spirit he will recover quickly and be able to continue on with school as well as the wedding that is planned in may to wed his fiancé of 2 years.
