Help for the Holidays

Hello all, I need your help.
This year has been a tough one on everyone, especially for a friend of mine whose name I can’t reveal  to maintain his privacy, and that of his family. Both he and his wife have been unemployed for a year and even with continued job searching he has been unable to find work. His search has been further complicated because his only mode of transportation is very unreliable and he can’t travel very far without worry of breaking down. Their financial situation is such they can not afford a better vehicle and now are having to sell their house as they can’t afford to keep it. The icing on the cake, his wife was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. 

I can’t help with the job, a car, the house or the cancer, but I am hoping, with your help, to make sure this Christmas is one of the best for them. The money will go to cover the cost of a tree, presents and holiday dinner. If you can help me achieve my fundraising goal to help make this happen by December 23rd I would be eternally grateful! Please help me surprise him with this wonderful gift!
