Please, donate for Kricket

Last week I left for vacation and left my kitten, Kricket, in the care of a trusted friend. Within a day he started exhibiting unusual behaviors that were cause for alarm including wheezing and loss of appetite. Having found him as an abandoned stray it's not hard to believe that he loves his food and this not eating thing was incredibly alarming. I had the caretaker take him to my vet who then called me saying that he looked like he was about to die and could die overnight without the proper care. This proper care entailed approximately $3,000 in vet bills, and unbeknowst to me, my pet-sitter's mother had opted to pay some of the money up front. His mom is presently undergoing her own series of critical and expensive medical treatments and, as generous as it was, I know she couldn't have afforded to do this for me. When confronted the response was, "as a cat owner I understand the importance of the situation, so helping him out is a reward in itself."
Currently Kricket is home and was treated for FHV-1, an upper respiratory infection, hepatic lipidosis, and a bacterial infection in the nasal cavity. The cost so far has added up to $2,583, without including the cost of his initial vet screening. He could end up getting put on a permanent feeding tube if he does not start eating for us, but only time will tell.
I attached below a copy of JUST THE FIRST PAGE of his vet bill, so as to avoid any suspicions of fraud. I just want to be upfront and honest in regards to what your hard-earned money is going towards.
