Towards Special Olympics National Games

Hi my name is Phoebe Roche I have Cerebral Palsy and Spastic Quadriplegia [which means I have it in all four limbs], Epilepsy and ADHD. I have just turned 18 and just finished school and now doing a horse breeding course. At school I did certificates in Child Care,Technology and Animal Studies.

I have been riding since I was 5 years old with the RDA then the McIntyre Centre. I have been a member of Special Olympic for many years starting with Golf then I joined Tennis and now that they have at long last started my one true love and passion "EQUESTRAIN" a year ago.

I have been selected for the very first ever Equestrian Team to go to Melbourne in October this year, which is a huge privilege indeed. Then I may hopefully be selected to represent Australia in the Special Olympic World Games Los Angeles 2015.

I am one of the very lucky 202 athletes who will represent Queensland at the Special Olympics National Games being held in Melbourne. Each athlete now has to raise $3,500 to enable them to attend the games and I appealing for your help & support in enabling me to reach this target.

I would like to Thank You for your time in reading my article and any help great or small hopefully I will be able to reach my ultimate dream.
