Mission Trip to India

Several months ago, I heard about a mission trip to India.  Truth be known, it wasn't until I heard "...it will change your life" that grabbed my attention.  In the past, I viewed mission trips as something "missionaries" went on. Admittedly, (at first) I was half-heartedly inquiring about what this mission trip would entail. Next thing I knew - I was all in and committed. I'm certain it was the Holy Spirit who made it clear to me that I will "see" so much from this; grow so much from this; and change my life because of this.  People do this kind of stuff all the time...just never me.  It's amazing how I've started to see things differently (already).  I can't wait for the opportunity to grow, help, connect, and discover in ways I've never known or realized. I hope to share my life-changing experience with anyone and everyone who wish to know.  

This Fall, October 1st - 9th, a group of men from Harvest Community Church in Mesa, AZ, will be bound for Hyderabad, India. Among us will be an Optometrist who will lead efforts to set up eye-screening stations for those who would not have this opportunity, otherwise.  Additionally, we will spend much of our time conducting leadership development among young entrepreneurs; theological training for a group of pastors; and lead English classes for a local boarding school.
