Hi all,
My name is Kenton Gunn McLeod
I am a Student at Redcliffe College in Gloucester, in the United Kindgom. I have a passion for creating Films and TV programmes that would one day be used to spread the good news through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to make films based on real life testimonies.
I am preparing to undertake a short-term mission trip with the organisation SAT-7, and will be based in Cyprus for a month. This will take place at the beginning of May to beginning of June . My goal is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to parts of the world through Television.
Making God's love known, SAT-7's vision is to see a growing church in the middle east and north Africa; confident in Christian faith and witness, serving the community and contributing to the good of society. A unique ministry, SAT-7's ability to transform lives through the spread of the gospel is extensive. I am excited about the opportunity I have to serve both SAT-7 and the Lord whilst in Cyprus.
However in order to join SAT-7 in May, I need people to stand behind me, supporting me in prayer and helping to meet the cost of my placement. to assist in my support raising, I will be carrying out the below challenge - all funds raised will be utilsed for my flights, accommodation and food for my 4 weeks with SAT-7.
THE CHALLENGE FOR ME:
Over Easter Holidays, I will be running all the way from Lydd Airport, to Deal Castle. Once I get to Deal Castle, I will cycle down the coast to the final Destination Folkestone Harbour. This will be based in Southeast England.
The Challenge will take up most of the day and will be tough, but I am totally up for doing it.
The run will be a total of 10 hours
Running from: Lydd Airport to Deal Castle
The Cycle will be a total of 5 hours
