Bring Ed Cartner Home

Long time Alaskan, Ed Cartner, has recently been diagnosed with ALS, and currently in Seattle where he has recovered from pneumonia.   Unfortunately Ed can’t get home since he has to be medevacked due to health complications.  If Ed is released from the hospital, he will be homeless since he can't take standard air travel.    Ed has survived open heart surgeries and many health challenges with grit and determination, and now needs assistance to get him home since his medical insurance will not pay for the medevac.   The family's discretionary funds have been used to cover costs the medical insurance does not pay for the ALS treatments.  Any amount would be helpful to the family as soon as possible.
