Love for Ella

Hey everyone!  This campaign is for our little princess, Ella. She is an adorable three year old who has spent the last two weeks (and counting) in the Special Care Unit at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, Maine. Ella has contracted a severe strain of the e-coli virus that has attacked several organs in her body.  She has had several dialysis treatment and will have many more. She will possibly end up being a diabetic for the rest of her life. The virus started with her kidneys, then her brain, then her pancreas and now she is having heart and respiratory issues.  It has been, and continue to be, a long journey for a three year old that does not understand what is going on.  Ella is one tough little girl and show it by enduring a long hospital stay which would be taxing for an adult. Ella has had times during this ordeal when she has been unable to talk.  As you can imagine, this has been a heart-wrenching ordeal for Ella's parents, Missy and James who have spent every day and night at Ella's side for a journey that has lasted more than a month. Through this campaign, Ella's extended family is trying to raise money for Ella's medical bills. She is our beautiful, little Ella or "Beanie" as her parents call her and any gifts donated to this campaign will be greatly appreciated.
