Brody Toney has finally been accepted into the Pittsburgh Children's Institue's feeding clinic. This is a dream come true and an answered prayer. This will hopefully help Brody to learn to eat primarily by mouth instead of by feeding tube.
Unfortunately, this comes at a heavy price to Matt & Sabrina. They are not provided lodging, transportation or food during the minimum of 2 weeks (with a possibility of having to stay up 6 weeks) stay at the hospital and clinic and we all know how insurance works! It's going to be difficult and trying time for them and even harder time on sweet Brody.

Just for those of you who don't know about Brody. He was born at 26 wks weighing only 1 lb 11ozs. He has 11 had surgery's and has spastic cerebral palsey. Brody isn't able to sit on his own, walk on his own or feed himself at the age of 3 yrs old. Matt & Sabrina have worked very hard to give Brody a "normal" life as much as possible. They have found and continue to find any and all help they can get for Brody. Unfortunately it comes at a great cost for some of this. Sabrina isn't able to work because taking of Brody is a full time job.
