Melanie's Fight For Life

Please help us !! Melanie's family and friends are trying to fundraise money for Melanie's fight for life. Melanie is the most inspirational, wonderful, caring person I know. She was 1st diagnosed at the young age of 18 with thyroid cancer shortly after her 1st baby was born.  She somehow managed to take it all in stride and still be a wonderful caring Mom.  For many years, she continued getting radiation treatments until she was told that she needed more aggressive treatment in the thyroid area as her lungs weren't getting enough radiation.  This is how she was informed that she had cancer in both lungs.  Melanie continued to fight, all the while being a pillar of strength and positivity for all of her family and friends. Melanie has never been in remission and she is a miracle.  In February of 2013, at the age of 40, she was diagnosed with melanoma.  After a series of surgeries, she was diagnosed in February 2014 with advanced stage 4  melanoma. 

Even after all she has been through, she continues to be there for her husband, 3 wonderful children, her family and her friends.  She has always put everyone around her 1st.  It's up to us now to help her and be there for her. 

Melanie is in desperate need of Photon Genius from the Skilling Institute. This machine will put oxygen directly into her cells and will possibly save her life.  The cost of this machine is $25,000.00 plus the cost changing the electrical in their home to support such a machine.  There is no machine in the area in which we live that she can have access to.  She is also doing other forms of alternative treatment. 

Every little bit will help as she has had to quit her job due to her illness.  She has no life or mortgage insurance as she didn't qualify from the age of 18.  We will also doing a silent auction to help raise money.
