A message from the team:
Our team needs help! We need money to get to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in Iowa in May.
We've worked very hard since October. Last year we only placed 6th in our region...but this year, we placed 1st! And then we placed second in the Virginia State Tournament on April 15. Can you believe it?!?
Our coaches say that it will cost about $1000 per person to go. And we have to take all of our props and sets. We have 6 team members and 2 coaches and we have to bring a parent. We are doing other fundraisers like a bake sale, yard sale, lemonade stand, and other things but we need your help to get there!
We don't have a lot of time to raise money because we have to register by April 29 so that we can go to Iowa State University.
Any money that you can give us will be a big help. We never expected to make it this far. We would get to compete against teams from all 50 states and 48 countries. We even get to buddy with a team from another country. How cool is that?!?
Please help us! We may never have this chance again.
